The Prancing Pig is a contemporary Paint your own Pottery Studio located in Red Lion, just off the “square” on Broadway. Once you see your first finished piece we promise you’ll be back. You don’t have to be especially artistic or creative to paint a lovely, one of a kind piece of ceramic pottery that you and yours will cherish for years to come.

Select a piece from more than 100 pieces of bisque on our shelves.

Decide how to paint your piece, choose designs and colored underglazes.

Relax to music while you paint your piece in our lovely studio and enjoy
a complimentary cup of coffee/tea.

We dip your piece in overglaze and let it dry for 24 hours. After final glazing and drying, your piece goes into the kiln to be fired at 1828 degrees F.

Pick up your finished piece a week later!
